Following his graduation from Keio University, Yamashiro entered P&G Japan Marketing, where he took responsible about Japan market for the Pampers Diaper brand. He would later move to Singapore to assume the role of brand manager for Pampers global & Asia market. After Pampers, Yamashiro would go on to work on product development and marketing for hair-care product brand Pantene. In June 2017, he joined Mercari, Inc as Mercari’s Marketing group manager, supervising offline (e.g. TV commercials) and online (direct) marketing, overseeing Mercari’s growth and marketing strategies. In January 2018, he was appointed to the position of marketing manager of Merpay, Inc as additional responsibility.
